Laura focuses on representing financial institutions. Her principal emphasis is the representation of financial institutions in various types of commercial lending, credit, and collection activities, including mortgage lending transactions, asset-based financing, acquisition financing, multiple creditor facilities, syndicated facilities, participations, intercreditor arrangements, asset sales, loan portfolio sales, loan restructuring, workouts and foreclosures. She also represents private investment firms in business matters, including asset acquisitions, loan portfolio acquisitions and related matters. She has a B.A. in Economics from Baylor University, magna cum laude, Honors with distinction (2006) and a J.D. from Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law, cum laude (2009).
