Tom Higier concentrates his practice in representing banks and other financial institutions.  In May 2009, for the third consecutive year, he was named by D Magazine as one of the best bank lending attorneys in Dallas.  He has been also named as a “Texas Super Lawyer” in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 by Texas Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, as published by Texas Monthly magazine.  His focus includes bank operations, real estate, mortgage lending, asset-based and other forms of secured lending, and bank loan workouts and collections. He also has an active franchising practice, representing franchisors in all aspects of their business, and represents several real estate developers and operating businesses.

  • Negotiated, structured  and documented a wide variety of purchase and sale agreements and other transactional documents relating to real estate and business transactions
