Jason is an associate with the firm practicing in the areas of corporate bankruptcy law and commercial litigation. Mr. Rodriguez has represented debtors and creditors in complex chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings as well as interstate and international multi-party adversary proceedings. Representative clients include oil and gas exploration and production companies, commercial real estate companies, construction companies, and industrial companies. Mr. Rodriguez has prosecuted and defended interstate contract disputes in Federal Court and financing and contract disputes in State Court. Mr. Rodriguez served as the law clerk of the Hon. D. Michael Lynn, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas from August 2008 to August 2009. He is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and in the Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas. Mr. Rodriguez is a co-author of Chapter 11, The Practice of Corporate Reorganization Law and author of Introduction to Bankruptcy Considerations for Oil and Gas Lawyers. Mr. Rodriguez graduated from the University of Texas in 2002 with a B.A. in history and received his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2006.
