Timothy Woods practices in both federal and state court in the areas of corporate, banking, securities, business tort and fraud, officer and director liability, and general commercial litigation. His practice involves representing commercial clients in suits ranging from simple note cases to large complex business disputes.
He also has extensive experience in both the courtroom and in arbitration proceedings. Mr. Woods handles employment and labor litigation for both employers and employees, and represents both developers and contractors in contract disputes. Tim has broad experience in collection proceedings and loan work-outs. In addition, Mr. Woods has experience defending car dealerships in consumer DTPA cases. In fact, he was lead counsel in a groundbreaking case in which the Dallas Court of Appeals first engrafted a common law defense to DTPA actions. See Autohaus v. Aguilar, 794 S.W.2d 459 (Tex.
